A device-specific mounting solution for secure, accessible positioning of payment terminals and card readers on counters, kiosks or integrated tablet systems.
A commercial countertop stand developed around the selected tablet, enclosure, payment workflow and installation method for OEM/ODM POS programs.
A commercial stand that supports, positions and charges a tablet through a device-specific Pogo Pin docking interface, with optional data and peripheral connectivity.
A multi-device dock developed for organized fleet charging, with five device positions, controlled contact alignment and project-defined power or data management.
Magnets can make a dock feel effortless, but they do not remove the need for mechanical guidance. A device still needs controlled surfaces that set position, stop depth and protect the contacts from side load.
Goochain chooses the alignment method after reviewing device weight, contact position, user direction, retention requirement and nearby components.

A correctly arranged magnet set can pull the device toward the dock, provide a clear seating feel and help prevent incomplete placement. Polarity, force, position and surrounding electronics must be reviewed. Magnet force should support the user experience without making removal difficult or creating uncontrolled impact.
Tapers, rails, ribs, pockets and datum surfaces can locate the device before contact compression. Mechanical features are predictable and can carry lateral loads. They need enough clearance for easy insertion while staying tight enough for consistent contact.
Many docks use mechanical surfaces for accuracy and magnets for the final pull or retention. In that design, the magnets do not determine the final contact location by themselves. Goochain models the force and tolerance stack around the combined interface.

Docking tests should include one-handed placement, misaligned approaches, removal direction and repeated cycles. A connection that works in a careful laboratory placement may still fail in a busy restaurant or warehouse.
Send Goochain the device weight, contact layout and preferred insertion/removal direction. We can evaluate magnetic, mechanical or combined guidance using the real product geometry.
