A device-specific mounting solution for secure, accessible positioning of payment terminals and card readers on counters, kiosks or integrated tablet systems.
A commercial countertop stand developed around the selected tablet, enclosure, payment workflow and installation method for OEM/ODM POS programs.
A commercial stand that supports, positions and charges a tablet through a device-specific Pogo Pin docking interface, with optional data and peripheral connectivity.
A multi-device dock developed for organized fleet charging, with five device positions, controlled contact alignment and project-defined power or data management.
Goochain reviews alignment through drawings, prototypes, fixtures and functional tests. The aim is to make normal production variation part of the design calculation rather than a surprise at final assembly.
The device or case and the dock need repeatable surfaces that establish left-right, front-back and height position. The contact drawing should reference those datums. Measuring pins from decorative outer surfaces can introduce uncontrolled variation.
The pad must provide adequate contact area across the expected positional tolerance. Pin travel must remain within the approved compression range after housing, PCB, fastener and assembly variation are included. A wider pad does not solve excessive side load or poor guidance.
A contact board can shift during screw tightening, adhesive curing or welding. Production fixtures and inspection gauges help set the board against the intended datum. Goochain defines critical dimensions and checks them before the electrical test.
Validation should include angled placement, partial seating and repeated docking where these actions are plausible. The dock should guide the device into the accepted position without allowing the pins to become the primary guide.
For a docking review, provide Goochain with the device pad drawing, housing CAD and expected tolerance information. We can identify the critical datum and contact checks before tooling and fixtures are finalized.
