A device-specific mounting solution for secure, accessible positioning of payment terminals and card readers on counters, kiosks or integrated tablet systems.
A commercial countertop stand developed around the selected tablet, enclosure, payment workflow and installation method for OEM/ODM POS programs.
A commercial stand that supports, positions and charges a tablet through a device-specific Pogo Pin docking interface, with optional data and peripheral connectivity.
A multi-device dock developed for organized fleet charging, with five device positions, controlled contact alignment and project-defined power or data management.
Goochain treats reader integration as a user and engineering problem at the same time. The goal is to protect both devices while keeping payment interaction, charging and maintenance straightforward.
List the areas that must remain accessible: contactless presentation, chip-card slot, swipe path, display, keypad, power button, speaker, camera and charging port. The customer or device owner should confirm any antenna or keep-out information. The enclosure must support these zones rather than simply cutting a large opening around them.
A rear-mounted reader changes weight distribution and may press into the user's hand. A side module can increase overall width and expose the device during a drop. Goochain uses mock-ups and early prototypes to compare positions before the tool is fixed. Strap location, one-handed use and the direction of card insertion are reviewed in the same session.
Short USB or Lightning connections are often hidden inside the case. The cable still needs enough bend radius, strain relief and space for assembly. The connector should not carry the mechanical load when the reader is pushed or the enclosure is dropped. Where a contact or PCBA interface is used, the mechanical datum must keep the connection stable.
Some programs want the reader permanently secured; others need field replacement in minutes. Screws, latches, slide rails and detachable backplates offer different levels of access. Goochain defines the service method before finalizing the enclosure so technicians do not have to disassemble unrelated parts.
Send Goochain the tablet and reader samples together with the intended transaction flow. We can evaluate reader position, user access, cable protection and service sequence before moving into detailed tooling design.
