A tablet used at a checkout counter may spend part of the day in a stand, part in someone’s hands, and the rest at a charging point. Each move puts a different demand on the connections around it. At Global Sources Consumer Electronics 2026, Goochain will show how compact cables, magnetic contacts, and charging products can be considered together for commercial devices. Visit us at Booth 11S02, AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong, from October 11 to 14.
The connection a user handles every day
For a tablet, handheld terminal, or accessory that returns to a charging position, contact placement matters as much as the electrical specification. We will bring magnetic pogo pin connectors and cable assemblies to the show, with different contact layouts that visitors can examine in person. If your project involves a device-specific cradle, we can discuss how the contacts, locating features, and enclosure should meet when the device is set down. Our site’s pogo pin charging docks offer examples of the wider application.
A cable still has to fit the housing
The display will also include FPC flat cables and short USB-C assemblies in straight, right-angle, and U-shaped forms. A connector can be electrically suitable yet difficult to route once the case, stand, or reader module is added. The samples give hardware teams something tangible to compare against the space behind a port and the path into the device. Visitors considering a tablet or payment-terminal build can also browse our USB cables for tablets and POS terminals before the show.
Discuss the device, the dock, and the rollout
We will also show multiport charging products. For POS and other shared-device projects, the discussion often reaches beyond one connector: where devices are stored between shifts, whether charging and data are both required, how a unit is guided into place, and which parts need to be adapted for a particular tablet or handheld model. If you are weighing a single-device cradle against a multi-device setup, our tablet charging docks provide additional context.
Bring a device photo, housing drawing, current connector, or even a rough layout to Booth 11S02. We can work through contact location, cable exit direction, pin assignment, power and data requirements, prototype checks, and the steps needed before production. The more we know about how the product is actually used, the more useful that conversation will be.
