Compact tablets are useful for tableside ordering and mobile checkout, but the enclosure has to balance protection, grip, reader access and charging convenience within a small footprint. Goochain develops custom mPOS cases around the actual iPad Mini 6 or Mini 7 hardware, the selected payment reader and the customer's daily operating flow.
A reference system may combine a TPU protective frame, ABS load-bearing shell, rear Pogo Pin contact module and a matching desktop or multi-bay dock. Charging and data functions are defined by the approved electrical architecture. Goochain does not describe the case as universally compatible: every tablet and reader combination is checked before drawing approval and tooling.
Design Focus
Mini 6 and Mini 7 projects may look similar from a distance, but commercial tooling is released only after port, button, camera, speaker, tolerance and accessory compatibility are checked against the exact device. Goochain can create shared components where practical while keeping model-specific parts separate where the hardware requires it.
