A Tablet and Reader Layout for Limited Counter Space
A compact countertop tablet POS mount kit brings the tablet mounting assembly and a device-specific card reader holder into one reviewed checkout layout. For a small retail counter or café service point, the useful measurement is the space occupied by the complete installation, including card insertion, hand access and any screen movement.
Goochain offers this as an OEM/ODM mounting configuration. It is defined around your counter and devices rather than supplied as a universal fit. The mounting hardware supports the checkout arrangement; payment processing remains with your reader, tablet and POS software.
Define the Mounting Kit

Measure the Complete Checkout Footprint
Send the usable counter width and depth, counter thickness and the position of nearby equipment. The layout review should record base width and depth, the outermost tablet and reader positions, and the space needed for customer access. A small base alone does not establish that the complete kit will fit.
For a reader beside the tablet, check the space needed to insert a card, reach the keypad and view the display. For a moving screen or reader, include its full operating sweep. The configuration drawing should show these boundaries together with the cable exit and counter fixing points.
Choose the Base Fixing and Cable Exit
Where drilling is permitted, review the fixing pattern and access beneath the counter. Where drilling is restricted, a clamp, weighted base or adhesive arrangement may be considered within the available design options. Each requires a check of the counter edge or surface, installation load and available space; a no-drill solution is not suitable for every counter.
Confirm whether cables must leave toward the rear of the counter or pass through an approved opening. Leave room for connectors and service access, and account for cable bending when the display or reader moves. Power adapters, charging electronics and data connections are separate items unless explicitly included in the project scope.
Match the Tablet and Card Reader
Provide the exact tablet model, the enclosure or case used with it, and the payment reader model and revision. Reader placement on the left or right is reviewed against its connection points, customer approach and card-access zones. It should not be assumed that the same holder can be reversed or accept a replacement reader.
The layout can draw on our existing countertop tablet stand and payment terminal mounting designs. The final paired configuration still requires a device and installation review.

Does the kit include the tablet and payment reader?
The quoted scope is for mounting hardware. Tablets, readers and POS software are customer-supplied unless the quotation explicitly states otherwise.
What are the base dimensions?
There is no single published footprint for this custom configuration. Base dimensions and the complete installed envelope are defined in the configuration drawing after the devices and counter are reviewed.
Can the mount be installed without drilling?
A no-drill option can be evaluated, but approval depends on the counter surface, edge access and installation requirements. Confirm the selected base before ordering.
Can the reader be positioned on either side?
Left or right placement is assessed for the selected structure. Reader access, attachment geometry and cable routing must be checked before confirming either arrangement.
Does this mount provide charging or payment functions?
The mounting hardware does not process payments. Charging or data hardware is included only when separately specified and reviewed for the devices used.
