The external pogo contacts connect the enclosed tablet to a matching stand or cradle. Depending on the approved project design, the interface can support charging and USB data without asking staff to plug a cable into the tablet each time it is returned.

The two materials perform different jobs. TPU provides a softer contact surface around the device and helps protect exposed edges and corners. ABS gives the outer assembly the rigidity needed for the pogo contact area, mounting points and repeated docking use.
The structure can be adjusted for the required grip, corner protection, wall thickness, texture, assembly method and service access. This makes the case suitable for applications where the tablet is handled throughout the day and returned to its dock many times.
Dedicated fit for iPad mini 5, mini 6 and A17 Pro
This is a family of model-specific cases rather than one loose universal sleeve. iPad mini 5 uses the earlier 7.9-inch format and a Lightning connector. iPad mini 6 and iPad mini (A17 Pro) use the newer 8.3-inch body and USB-C. Charging and data through the pogo pin interface
When the protected tablet is placed on its matching dock, the pogo contacts meet the mating pads at a controlled position. The connection can be configured for charging and USB data according to the approved circuit, host device and peripheral requirements.
